John Dorman - Legion Baseball 17U Head Coach 

From 1997-2002, Coach Dorman played shortstop in the New York Mets and Cleveland Indians farm systems, as well as multiple Independent teams such as the Bridgeport Bluefish and Lehigh Valley Black Diamonds. Coach Dorman has been the a Legion coach since 2015. 

Coach Dorman played high school baseball at Fairfield Prep, college ball at the University of Richmond, and was the Staples Freshman baseball coach in 2003. He went on to assistant coach at Marist for two years and then at Yale under current coach John Stuper for another five. For the past 10 years, Coach Dorman has been a teacher and head baseball coach at the Fairfield County Day School.
