Westport Advanced Baseball (WAB) organizes and supports teams to play on the large regulation field with MLB rules offering travel or recreational teams in the spring, summer and fall up to 19 years of age. Teams play under several different organizations depending on age including Babe Ruth, Koufax, Mantle, Connie Mack, and American Legion.

posted 12/14/2011 The next Westport Baseball & Softball (WBS) board meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 16th, 7:30pm at Staples Field House, Classroom 186. We are a volunteer organization which welcomes all members of the community to attend.
At every board meeting, 5 minutes are set aside for public comments and questions about any topics. If anyone wants to request the opportunity to address the Board regarding a specific issue, they must contact in advance our Chairman, Jeff White . If we are not able to accommodate your questions at the board meeting, or your inquiry requires more time, we will schedule you at our next board meeting. We welcome written feedback or questions that can make our organization better meet the needs of our community, by clicking the FEEDBACK tab on the left-hand side of any of our websites.
Current WBS Board Members are listed on the WestportBaseballSoftball.com website under WBS Board of Directors. 13-15 BASEBALL DIVISION
The bat may not exceed 34” in length, and the bat barrel may not exceed 2 5/8” in diameter. All aluminum/alloy barrel bats and all composite handle (only) aluminum/alloy barrels are allowed. Only composite barrel bats certified and marked BBCOR .50 will be allowed. Wood barrel bats conforming to the specifications of Official Baseball Rule 1.10 are allowed.
Wood Bats: The bat shall be a smooth, round stick not more than 2 3/4" in diameter at the thickest part and not more than 42" in length." Solid Wood, Solid Wood Laminate, or Solid Bamboo Laminate bats are permitted.Back to top | | | | Tips on Website | | | | by

Go to the horizontal tabs and click Team Rosters/Schedules
Select Season = " Spring "
Select League = your league ie. Majors, Minors, AA ...
Select your Team
[Alternative Method: If you set Season = " Spring" and set League and Team to "Select" default and choose Standings in the left menu, all league standings will appear. You can click on any team for results and other team specific info.]
On the left menu you will see choices for: * News * Contacts * Schedule * Calendar * Roster * Results * Standings * Multi-Schedule. These will contain information as described as soon as it is available.
Detailed roster information is sometimes password protected and available only to team members. At the bottom of the Roster page select " Click here to log in for full roster". A pop-up box should appear. Enter your email and website password that you created when you registered. Detailed roster information will then appear. If you do not remember your password, go back to the main menu and select Edit my account at the bottom. If you enter your email and leave password blank, you will be emailed your password. You can change your contact information and password at anytime by logging into Edit My Acccount.
